Tantra is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. It means to “weave” weaving the form (the body) with higher consciousness (the soul). The practice of Tantra is duality to unity which lifts humanity one step up from the animal kingdom, the basic primal desire nature and into the heart of the Divine. Tantra is a science of evolution, unlocking and decoding life’s many mysteries and discovering the mystery of self, self-realization, self-knowledge and self-love. When self-love is awakened, we recognize this as unconditional love in others, our community, humanity and the soul.
Despite its recent growth in popularity, Tantra is a philosophy that dates back thousands of years and has its roots in the Eastern world. The term Tantra is very broad and in the Indian tradition is regarded as “text, theory, system, method, instrument, technique or practice”. This vague definition left a vast blank space filled by multiple interpretations in different epochs and traditions. This is why we can only tell you what Tantra is for us.
Tantra from the Heart
At Parimukti Tantra, we practice and teach “Tantra from the Heart”, a beautiful technique to connect to yourself and others in a mindful and loving way. We try to establish meaningful connections with no judgement, expectations or pressure, respecting our boundaries and other people’s. We regard Tantra as a way to celebrate the perfection of the present moment, just as it is, without a goal to reach or a role to take on. It is our lifestyle, every moment of the day.
This type of yoga cannot be found through self-claimed scholars or theirs books, it is not a commodity that you can buy, it is a heart to heart connection and a direct perspective of free mind. Parimukti Tantra Yoga is only for those who are not looking to convert themselves from one system of belief to another. This is not a spiritual romantic escape or an academic trap to get lost in translations, but a key to dissolve self-inflicted sorrow and to celebrate our uniqueness beyond all comparisons. A healthy doubting, skeptical and critical mind is a free mind because it doesn’t want to follow or obey blindly to the rules given by societies and so called leaders. A obedient mind is a mechanical mind that can easily be exploited to serve the old establishments which only feed on fear and greed.
Parimukti Tantra Yoga supports self-awareness born out of direct observation. Awareness makes us present to face daily life as it comes and responding with the fresh intelligence of the moment. This Intense Traditional Tantra Yoga Training Bali/Tantra Yoga Retreats Bali is specially designed for those who want to understand themselves through Traditional Tantra Yoga, have limited time and are not looking for certification.
